Rip Curl Surfing Game (Live The Search) App Reviews

Not worth the $3.99. Graphics are poor, gameplay is poor. Plenty of bugs (especially in the tube). Reminds me of the old California Games surfing event - in fact the surfing is not much better than it was back then. Developers out there (those that actually surf)... give us something realistic!

This is by far the best surfing game on the iPhone (bobble surfer used to be my fav, but this is way more fun). I dont know who says this the billabong game is better, but they must be on crack. This is at least somewhat realistic and resembles a wave when youre surfing. It takes a bit to get used to the controls, but once you do its a blast. I love free surfing and pretending Im getting shacked in a faraway land! One suggestion, more waves (for sure needs more than the 7 on here) more spray on turns, and better options for create your own character (I.e. Regular stance)... With that said, thanks rip curl for a fun game!

You guys need to have it where u can paddle out and duckdive under the waves. Then u can sit and wait for a good wave and catch it by yourself!!!!!

i love this game but it needs surf contests its kind of boring when u beat it

Game lets me choose surfer and board, then blanks out and shuts off. Glad I got this free. I love Rip Curl, expected more with their endorsement.. Wish I could even play it once..

Cant play this. I choose my surfer and my board then shoot of. I want my money back. I love Rip curl but this not.

The thing works fine. All these mouth breathers complaining ,are just pastey, entitled Americans who wear their sisters skinny jeans.

This game stands tall above any other surfing game on iOS. It still falls somewhat short of being 5* or really awesome. It has rather unreasonably difficult goals, and lets face it; as surfers, we really just want to shred all the locations, not get tired of trying to beat some silly developers idea of a difficulty curve. Maybe release some cheat codes so we can unlock all the beaches or something guys. Please?

The problem Im having is that my sushi roll doesnt work. All the rest is good but if you could fix the game it would be better.

This app made my iPhone. As a surfer, everything here is so legit. Arm placement, speed and flow, tube ride success. If you are a landlocked surfer this is a f-ing drug, this app. The air maneuvers are ultra-exaggerated but the carves and cutbacks and lip hits are very Andy/Mickish styled. Fun! My complaint is that I cannot get to the final level because my Sushi Roll option stopped working????

This is an ideal game for surfers

Perfect for surfers, very realistic. BUT, a lot of the Ariel controls like NEVER work so it can get frustrating....but overall still excellent.

I wouldnt know how this game is because i pick my person then my surfboard and then it crashes. I havnt gotten to the surf part yet and Im pretty sure I wont. Over all this is a really bad game because of the crashes. Take my advice and dont get this game because its expensive (for the app store) and pay that money for something to crash? You choose....

Worth the money if you know how to surf good and the surface tricks are realistic buy the airs are not to realistic. Great game though
