Rip Curl Surfing Game (Live The Search) App Reviews

This game is almost there, there is great surfer wave interaction and ye maneuvers seem pretty realistic, but the controls leave a lot to be desired. Many of the maneuvers simply dont execute well and it can be very frustrating. The layback snap for example is almost impossible. If the control cleaned up it would be great. Also have the boards actually surf differently and be able to choose goofy or regular for the characters.

At first its a bit tricky to dial in the airs/tricks/snaps, etc..but once you get it, your fun level shoots way up. Fun game.

One the worst games Ive ever played, not worth it, Im not satisfied with this product at all and I want a refund! How do I go about doing so??

Game works great for me. Its pretty sick to be surfing on breaks during at the hospital. The controls are tough to get use to and I wish there wasnt a time limit on the free surf sessions, but the graphics are the best Ive seen so far.

You cant leave level one.

Cool, but needs an update with: more beaches like pipeline or mavericks, more realistic tricks, more surfers and more boards, please.

This is a mediocre game with vast potential. The overall look and feel of this game is by far the best currently out there. But the graphics are sub par and the controls are downright awful. Im really hoping they update this game and keep improving it because it has the potential to be a great surfing game. The worst part are the double swipe aerial tricks. They simply dont work. Myself along with countless others are stuck on level 4 because the sushi roll doesnt execute!!! Please fix this!! The stall button is excellent but even simply turning is difficult. If Lomah or Rip Curl take the time to read users reviews they could make a killer surfing game.

Every time I try to get barrel it glitches and I go over the falls. Please can you make the barrel riding easier so you can get the speed needed to do tricks. Also the swipe pad needs to be more responsive for multiple swipe moves

Best surfing game in the market. But rip curl please update it. Steph now rides for roxy. Add more care there like Nikki Van Dick, Bethany Hamilton, or Tyler Wright. Add some more places like Teahpoo,Supertubeos,etc. And add some new wetsuits. And ps also add Owen Wright, Matt Wilkonson, And Gabe Medina. Add please update it quickly please. It will make me happy

Awesome app, one of the best especially with the barrel feature. Maybe fix the crashing because every time I restart or try to surf Europe the game quits. It would be cool if the surfer could paddle out and catch his own waves, more realistic waves, close outs, snaps at the lip and better features, and maybe even more characters, boards, board shorts, and rash guards. Other than that, perfect game!

This game is crap. Poor graphics, not fun to play, tons of bugs and crashes. I can only play one level or the game crashes.

Notice most of the good reviews are from 2010. The game is no longer fully compatible with the recent iOS software and constantly crashes. Its not worth your 4 dollars.

An app I really want to like but cant get past the first level because it crashes. $3.99 for a broken app is a rip off - such a shame it has so much potential.

No one in their right mind should ever charge money for this game.
